Saqib who is garnering rave reviews for his role as the gay journalist in Bombay Talkies is all set to play a pivotal role in actor-director-activist Amole Gupte's next directorial venture which would centre on the sport of roller-skating.
While Amole who is known to work closely with street children remained tight lipped about the project, a source close to the project informs, "It's a project very close to Amole's heart. He wanted to make this film immediately after he worked closely with Aamir Khan on Taare Zameen Par. But since the role required a large number of children to be trained in roller-skating and also a leading man who could look convincing as their coach, Amole put the project on hold and made Stanley Ka Dabba first."
