MQM representatives express condemnation of torture on NATO container drivers by the workers of PTI

MQM's elected representatives Muhammad Iqabl Khan, Asif Hasnain and Sajid Ahmed have expressed condemnation of torture on NATO container drivers by the workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the the strongest possible terms. They have termed their act outrageous and undemocratic.
In a joint statement they said Pakistan is a democratic country and parties are allowed to stage peaceful demonstrations. They said that PTI should have staged a peaceful protest and should not have resorted to violence and torture. They deplored that PTI's workers brutal act was highly condemnable because it had given a bad name to Pakistan. They lamented that they have misused their democratic right for peaceful demonstrations.
MQM's elected representatives have demanded an action against the workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf who had tortured drivers from the prime minister and federal interior minister. They demanded their arrest and prosecution in accordance with the laws of Pakistan.
