Sachin Tendulkar Dedicates Bharat Ratna To All Mothers Of India !

Sachin, who on Saturday dedicated his Bharat Ratna to his mother Rajni, went a step further by dedicating the award to all mothers in India.
"Yesterday, I said this award is for my mother, for all the sacrifices she has made for me. Today I dedicate this award to mothers all across India," he said at a press conference in Mumbai on Sunday.
"There are millions and millions of mothers in India who sacrifice many things for their children. I would like to share my award with them." (Highlights from press conference)
Sachin added that he was humbled and honoured to receive the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour. He also congratulated fellow recipient Prof CNR Rao. "I would like to congratulate Prof CNR Rao for getting the Bharat Ratna. It is an honour to get the award with him, his contribution to the field of science is immense. A day after his retirement Sachin said he woke up at 6:50 but quickly realised that he didn't have to head for practice. "I woke up according to my body clock. I made myself a cup of tea, had breakfast with my wife and responded to all the messages I had received," he said. "I had a relaxed morning." Brother Ajit Tendulkar and first coach Ramakant Achrekar shaped Sachin's career and played a pivotal role in his success. "My relationships with Ajit and Achrekar sir are hard to put into words. Ajit and I shared this dream together and it was achieved due to Achrekar's blessings," he said. Sachin also added that finally, after 29 years, his first coach called him up to say 'well done'. Sachin also credited his middle-class upbringing for his humility on and off the field. "The beauty about my family is that they never lost balance," he said. "Irrespective of whether I scored hundred or zero they used to always treat me the same way. When you grow up you understand more about life and what your parents have done for you." The 40-year-old also requested the media to leave his son Arjun alone and let him enjoy his cricket. "Arjun shouldn't be pressurized regarding his performance on the cricket field.
