Mandela 'quite ill' and unable to speak

The former South African president Nelson Mandela remains “quite ill” and still unable to speak. His ex-wife Winnie Madikizela-Mandela says he uses facial expressions to communicate.
Mr Mandela has been receiving intensive care at his home where his bedroom has been specially adapted for his care.
Doctors hope he will be able to recover his voice.
