Sharon Stone, Christopher Walken are "Gods Behaving Badly"

The modern-day worship of celebrities gets a satirical twist in director Marc Turtletaub's 'Gods Behaving Badly'.
Gods of Greek myth find their powers on the wane and, instead of Mount Olympus, live together in a New York townhouse.
Sharon Stone plays ageing Greek goddess Aphrodite, hell-bent on seeking revenge on womanising Apollo.
Christopher Walken, meanwhile, is the Greek king of the gods, Zeus.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) DIRECTOR, MARC TURTLETAUB, SAYING:
"We sat around in a room and we said 'who are the great gods in our society? It's the actors, right? The big actors'. And so we said 'who would love to play the king of the gods?', we said, 'well, Christopher Walken would be good' and 'who would be a great adversary for him, well, John Turturro and who would Aphrodite be? Well, Sharon Stone'."
The movie made it debut at the Rome Film Festival on Wednesday, with general release to follow.
