That's the plot of Ben Stiller's new movie "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty".
Stiller and co-star Kristen Wiig were on the red carpet for the film's premiere in LA on Wednesday.

"In this story Walter has a life that he's imagined in his head that he's never acted on and he gets to a certain point in his life where he realizes, this is it, he has to make this choice, he has to go find this negative, there's a woman he really likes. He has to make this one decision where he literally takes a step and goes out into the world and I think that idea of actually going out and trying to do something that scares you is something that's really, I don't know, I like that idea."
