Injured Diego Costa ruled out of Spain squad
Las Rozas (Spain), 11 Nov (EFE).- Atlético de Madrid forward Diego Costa has been ruled out of the Spain squad to play friendlies against Equatorial Guinea and South Africa because of an injury according the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
Costa, who underwent a scan at the FREMAP Clinic in Majadahonda after injuring himself in the game against Villarreal on the weekend, has been diagnosed with a torn adductor longus muscle in his right leg and will be unable to make his debut for Spain after he controversially chose the country recently over his native Brazil.
