A Chinese farmer makes big bucks by breeding cockroaches. Wang Fuming currently owns 6 of China?s 100 cockroach farms, with one million of the insects to his name. Cockroach farming is a new trend in China, as its grown extremely profitable in the last few years. Cockroach powder goes for about 20 dollars a pound! The insect?s protein is used in certain cosmetics and medicines- making it a steadier market than crop and livestock farming.
