Parineeti Chopra beats Alia Bhatt to romance Ranbir Kapoor

Alia Bhatt on many occasions has expressed her wish to work with Ranbir Kapoor. While the Kapoor lad on the other hand has also been all praises for Alia, the buzz was that it was Ranbir who recommended Alia’s name to the Rockstar director Imtiaz Ali for his upcoming film Highway. Imtiaz considered Ranbir’s recommendation and that’s how Alia bagged the film.
But looks like Alia’s wish to be Ranbir’s heroine is yet to come true, on the other hand Parineeti has bagged Karan Johar’s upcoming film with the Barfi actor. Considering that KJo mentored young Alia, it definitely must have been disappointing for the SOTY actor. Grapevine suggests, Karan Johar has registered the title Mr And Mrs Tapori for his next film with Ranbir Kapoor and wants the Ishaqzaade actor to play the lead opposite Ranbir. If the pairing of Ranbir and Parineeti is finalised, this will be for the first time that they will appear on big screen together. One thing is for sure, with their acting prowess this duo will make an interesting pair. As for Alia, better luck next time gal.
