Ingersoll Rand-Sponsored UNC Charlotte Home Wins People’s Choice Award in the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon 2013

Among the 19-home solar-powered neighborhood, the team’s net-zero energy UrbanEden home took top honors in public voting. In addition, it was honored with the award at the close of the two-week Solar Decathlon event at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, California.
