Danish royals visit twins at Sydney Children's Hospital

STORY: Denmark's Princess Mary and Prince Frederik visited the Australian Twin Registry at the Sydney Children's Hospital on Saturday (October 26), on the third of their five-day-trip to Australia.

Twins Charlotte and Lillian Harding greeted the royal couple and gave them a bouquet of pink and purple flowers.

"It was pretty amazing because it's my first time meeting a princess," said Lillian Harding.

Princess Mary who has twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine and two other children, Prince Christian and Princess Isabella, is an international patron of the Australian Twin Registry.

The Australia-born Princess and her husband arrived in Sydney on Thursday (October 24) to take part in the Sydney Opera House's 40th anniversary celebrations.

The Sydney Opera House was designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon.
