Town Using Giant Mirrors to Overcome Winter Darkness

The town of Rjukan, Norway is in a valley between mountains, which means it gets zero sunlight during the winter months. Town officials are planning to combat this by sticking giant mirrors on the mountains to reflect sunlight on the town below. The hope is that the light encourages more community involvement.
