Revamped Gulshan-e-Jinnah Park (Polo Ground) inaugurated by Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan

Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan inaugurated the renovated Gulshan-e-Jinnah Park (Polo Ground).
He expressed hope that its renovation would provide better recreational facilities to the citizens, who would cherish the moments spent here.
The Administrator Karachi Saqib Ahmed Soomro, while giving a briefing said the park was spread over 20-acres of land, reconstructed at a cost of Rs 170 million. “All efforts were made to maintain quality and standard in the construction works,” he said.
Thousands of saplings were planted in the park and various species of plants, trees were introduced which have flowers on them round the year, he said.
He added that the facilities which include betterment of Eidgah, play area for children, modern musical fountain, jogging track, lighting tower, fascinating stone canopies and stone benches, corridors, vast lawn, lighting tower, jogging track, among others have been provided for the citizens.
Metropolitan Commi-ssioner Samiuddin Siddiqui, Director General Parks Ashfaq Mallah, Director General Engineering Niaz Ahmed Soomro and other officers were also present
