The Verbatim Store n Go PRO USB Flash Drive 16GB performance is advertised as below Transfers even large filesfolders fast!...Up to 80X Write (12MBs) and 200X Read (30MBs) speed GUESS WHAT, I tested the NON PRO "Verbatim Store n Go USB Flash Drive 16GB" and the performance came out to be the same. I have performed a benchmark test using SisSoftware Sandra Lite. the results are as follows When transferring a 2MB file Reads 27955kBs Writes 7168kBs When transferring a 64MB file Reads 27307kBs Writes 12015kBs CONCLUSION Dont waste your money buying the so called pro drive, becoz I think this one is just as fast as the pro drive, in fact I suspect they even use the same chip, just that the pro drive is advertise to be super fast to get more $$ out of ur pocket. Benchmark testing is one thing, in real life scenario, I find the drive to be extremely fast and reliable.
