After a night of bar hopping, when alcoholic drinks and lack of water contribute to cotton mouth and a rumbling tummy, those open late fast food joints can look pretty appealing.

Well an intoxicated man from Sparta, New Jersey landed in some serious trouble after he fell asleep while sitting in a drive through lane. 41-year-old Kyler Ginter, reportedly remained passed out in the same spot for about 2 hours. The incident occurred on October 5th.

The cops were notified after a manager at the Burger King restaurant noticed Ginter in his Hyundai which was parked at the order screen. When officers arrived at about 3 in the morning, they saw him sound asleep in the black car with the key still in the ignition.

According to a police report, Ginter gave cops a somewhat responsible reason for his actions by stating “I knew I couldn't handle it and I just wanted to stay here.”

Ginter failed field sobriety tests so he was quickly arrested and taken to the Morristown Police Department. He was issued a breath test and his blood alcohol limit measured twice over the legal limit.
