Legendary lyricist Tim Rice returns to London's West End after near 'eternity' away

STORY: After almost 13 years since his last new musical production opened, Tim Rice has finally picked up his pen to help bring to life a modern day telling of the story 'From Here to Eternity', and it may be just about time, the writer says. Made famous for his work with Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Elton John amongst others, Rice has racked up a slew of classic hits including 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat', 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and 'Evita', but has marked his return to the West End with a less experienced partner in debutant music writer Stuart Brayson. And it was Brayson's ideas that saw 'From Here to Eternity' make its stage transition.
