Vintage Guitars for Sale – 1963 Silvertone Jupiter with Blender Swithch and Newer Hardshell Case.
I have a wonderful 1963 Silvertone Black with Gold Sparkle finish Jupiter Guitar complete with a perfect fitting Hardshell Case. The Case is not original but a much better protector than the standard Jupiter Softshell Cases.
This Silvertone is in very good shape. Not mint it has dings and scratches abut nothing . I have sold at least 50 of these in my Ebay Store. You can check my Ebay Store Lawman Guitars. This Guitar has a date of 1963 stamped on the DeArmond Pickups Oct 9 1963. It has a lot of finish crazing. You know that only adds to the vintage look of this guitar. The crazing is especially prevelant on the back and neck of the guitar. You can see them in the pictures on the web site.
This guitar has the much desired DeArmond Silverfoil pickups. The sound awesome and are very clear. One of the features of this is the much sought after blender switch. I have had many studio musicians ask me to find them one of these guitars specifically for that option. It sounds great! In the blender setting, you can custom blend the amount of volume of the bridge andVintage Guitars for Sale -1963 Silvertone Jupiter neck pickup to give you an almost infinite variety of sounds. This Guitar was very advanced for its time.
Jeff has set this Silvertone up Low playing and easy action what is a pleasure. You will not get sore fingers playing this one. She has original Waverly open back tuners and the hard to find Hexagon Tuner Grommets. This is a great guitar.
