DO YOU BELIVE IN GODS?
The Meath-based Million Little Gods are the latest band to shake things up on an Irish rock scene that's arguably more vibrant than it's ever been.
Formed in 2012, and after a brief incarnation as Colour the World, Million Little Gods settled on their new name inspired from a line in the Arcade Fire song 'Wake Up' - "We're just a million little gods causing rainstorms, turning every good thing to rust".
According to music industry insider Jackie Hayden, "Million Little Gods have a power that positively explodes from your speakers and runs riot all over your living room. Their songs avoid the obvious formulaic approach that limits many acts, and they are already shaping up like serious contenders."
Million Little Gods have already recorded several original songs for future release, backed by gigs around the country. So, catch a band now primed to take Irish rock beyond the horizon. We all need a few Gods in our lives!
