An innovative new product by Greenwing Audio is a cord free MP3 player built as an earbud that is controlled wirelessly by the clicking of the user’s teeth.
Called Split, the MP3 player is still being developed and is the focus of a Kickstarter fund raising campaign.

Split comes equipped with 256 megabytes of memory and a four-hour battery life (1,headline) all in a device just the size of an earbud.

The earbuds are synchronized by radio waves and when users wear one in each ear the music is played simultaneously through both.

According to the creators of Split: “The output signal to noise ratio is 100dB which is theoretically above CD quality. The frequency response of the drivers is fairly flat in the 20 Hertz to 20 kilohertz range which guarantees high fidelity, and the speakers pack a good punch in terms of loudness.”

A pledge of 155 dollars to the Kickstarter campaign will get you a pair of the Split MP3 players, and for extra money you can choose between a variety of colors.
