Kerry and Karzai hold urgent security deal talks

US Secretary of State John Kerry flew to Afghanistan on Friday for urgent talks with Afghan President Hamid Karzai on a security deal between the two countries.

The deadline for the deal is the end of the month. It would allow US troops to stay in the country after the Nato-led military mission comes to an end next year.
