The Moore family is thrilled to have discovered a picture of a woman, who passed away, lovingly known as Grandma Alice. A street view of Alice’s home, located in Portland, Oregon shows not only the house, but Alice sitting on her front steps reading the newspaper.
Those who are grieving the loss of a loved one often take comfort in looking at the photos of the deceased.
The Moore family is thrilled to have discovered a picture of their beloved Grandma Alice who passed away.
Dustin Moore is the lady’s grandson and he stumbled across a picture of her he never knew existed.
The photo credit goes to Google Maps. A street view of Alice’s home, located in Portland, Oregon shows not only the house, but Alice sitting on her front steps reading the newspaper.
The elderly woman died last year and Dustin believes the Google image may have been the last picture that was ever taken of her. Dustin shared his discovery and story on the social media site Reddit.
Although Google will most likely update the image sometime in the future, the family still has some time to spend with her in the virtual world.
Dustin stated “I made the joke with my brother. I was like, 'Well, grandma's gone, but she still somehow lives on in Google and is watching over us.”
