STORY: Italian designer Roberto Cavalli arrived at his Milan runway show accompanied by his wife and his dog Lupo on Saturday (September 21).

This season's collection drew inspiration from the silver screen with Cavalli saying the show was taking place on his own film set.

Models were illuminated with bright cinematic style spotlights as they sashayed down the catwalk.

Cavalli's look for next year's spring and summer used hues of pearl grey, pink and light blue, which were contrasted with darker garments.

Python, iguana and crocodile prints were all present in the collection giving it a contemporary twist.

Cavalli's look included short cocktail dresses, as well as longer fitted evening gowns and loose flowing silk chiffon caftans.

Accessories made from crystals and colored enamels also sparkled on the catwalk.

Earlier in the week, Cavalli showcased his JustCavalli diffusion line during the biannual fashio
