Mall standoff enters third day

Residents in Nairobi Kenya are frustrated with the handling of a deadly hostage crisis that has moved into it's third day.

At least 68 people are dead and an unknown unknown number of others are still being held by al Qaeda-linked militants inside the upscale Westgate shopping centers.

(SOUNDBITE)(English) NAIROBI RESIDENT (NO NAME) SAYING:

"It's taking them too much time, they were supposed to handle this thing in like 6 hours and then, they were supposed to finish everything. But today is the third day and nothing, so I don't think they are working on the situation."

The crisis began on Saturday when a group of militants stormed the mall hurling grenades and firing automatic weapons.

Australian born Heidi Edwards was inside the mall at the time and described how she escaped.

"Then I decided to try the staff door, there was like a staff only door, and luckily that was unlocked so we got li
