American designer Tommy Hilfiger celebrated endless summer for his Spring/Summer 2014 collection on Monday (September 09) presented at an off-site venue of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (MBFW) in New York.

Staying true to his theme, his California-inspired collection was presented on a makeshift beach complete with a boardwalk runway that cut through large sand dunes.

For spring, the designer known as the King of Prep took his cues from the active lifestyle of the West Coast.

"Well the inspiration for the collection is all about the West Coast. It's about California lifestyle. It's about surfing, skating, sporty life, a very healthy life. And it's about a modern woman, and how to dress a modern woman for today."
