Professor Norton is still a willing slave of Unga Khan, but held in protective captivity by Sharrod's White Robe Army. To retrieve Norton, Unga Khan orders a full scale bombing assault on Atlantis! Personally, I would be hesitant to detonate so many earth-shaking bombs if I lived in a hollowed out dry landscape at the bottom of the ocean surrounded by countless tons of water, but I guess Unga Khan knows what he's doing.
