Gibraltar has criticised Spanish police who sent divers to inspect an artificial reef in waters claimed by the British territory. Divers measured the concrete blocks and took Spanish flags with them.

It is the latest move in the row over fishing rights on the rock.

Earlier this week a British warship docked in Gibraltar on its way to pre-planned exercises in the Mediterranean.
