FOCUS - Divisions in Poland over ritual animal slaughter

Poland is embroiled in a controversy over ritual slaughter: the killing of animals according to Muslim or Jewish tradition, without pre-stunning. Last year a court ruled it illegal, and just last month, parliament rejected a bill to allow the practice. Muslim and Jewish communities have appealed to the constitutional court in the name of religious freedom. Viewers are warned that there is footage of an animal being killed at the start of this report.
