Vande Mataram is well known as the National Song of our country. In this song, the two words Vande Mataram have achieved major importance.In Hindi/Sanskrit 'Vande Mataram' means 'I bow to thee,mother';a poem from the famed novel 'Anandamath' written in Bengali and Sanskrit by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay in 1882.
