FC Barcelona Peace Tour comes to an end in a packed Tel Aviv arena
Jerusalem, Aug 4 (EFE).- FC Barcelona's Peace Tour came to an end on Sunday in Tel Aviv, where Israeli and Palestinian leaders met whilst children from both sides of the conflict got a chance to train alongside Barça's footballers. Tel Aviv's Bloomfield, which is capable of holding up to 14.400 people, was sold out and filled with people wearing the team's colours in an event which brought the tour, which took the team to both the West Bank and Israel, to a close.
The club was thanked by Simon Peres who was given the opportunity to take the kick-off of honour by passing the ball to Messi. The Israeli president went on to say that Barcelona brought a message of peace, light and hope to the country.
