Of late, it was revealed that Vipul Shah's forthcoming release had finalized on a brilliant title as Bahadur , for his film. However, recent news reveals that the makers of the film are keen to rename the film as Holiday, as the film is about an Army officer on a vacation. The story goes about with the officer digging into certain official indiscretions and further taking charge of the situation. Hence, the title Holiday seemed to be apt for the film, rather than the previous title as Bahadur. The makers are working on the rename and are yet to finalize its this move.

The film is a remake of a Tamil film , directed by AR Murugadoss. The film features Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha as the lead pairs in the film.
