A Taliban commander has written to the Pakistani girl Malala Yousafzai who the extremists tried to murder last October. Some media are interpreting this as a letter of regret. But that word is not in it. Neither are the words 'apology' or ' sorry' - only the writer's: "I wished it had never happened."
