Johnny Depp takes The Lone Ranger to Tokyo

After its release in the US, "The Lone Ranger" has been declared by industry press as a box office bomb, despite having the same team of Jerry Bruckheimer, Gore Verbinski and Johnny Depp behind the successful Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
However, at a news conference for the film in Tokyo, Depp admitted that these reports have passed him by.

"The best sort of medicine for me, within the context of who you are in the world and what you're perceived as and all that stuff, I just try to remain as ignorant of any and all news regarding the industry or myself as possible."
After the news conference, the 50-year-old heartthrob held a premiere for the movie and the fans seemed more concerned with who he is rather than his latest reviews.
