SAY WHAT?: Investigation Launched After Doctor Diagnoses Woman With "Ghetto Booty"

When Terry Ragland went to the doctor about her lower back pain, Dr. Timothy Sweo gave her a diagnosis: ghetto booty. He later sent Ragland a letter apologizing for his use of the term. Ragland was actually suffering from lumbar lordosis, a condition in which the lower curve of the spine makes the buttocks protrude more. Ragland filed a complaint with the Tennessee Department of Health and an investigation has been launched.
