5 terrorists killed in Kupwara District

A massive infiltration bid was thwarted yesterday (July 9) by the Indian Army along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Kupwara District of Jammu and Kashmir after they were spotted attempting to infiltrate. A gun battle followed killing 5 terrorists, while few others managed to hide in the thick green foliage as operations continue. Sources suggest that around 350 terrorists are stationed along the loc in an attempt to infiltrate, as the Army is on highest alert.
