Thrashed for opposing harassment

The price of standing up to sexual harassment in West Bengal is not give rewards but rather give punishments. Three young men were thrashed in full public view at gunpoint by a group of hooligans after they dared to reprimand the brute who misbehaving with a group of school girls. Even after 24 hours their assaulters still roam scot-free raising serious questions about the seriousness of the West Bengal government in dealing with sexual offenses.
