Brosnan's daughter dies, Pharrell sues will.i.am

Pierce Brosnan's daughter has died after a three year battle with ovarian cancer, the same disease that killed the actor's first wife more than 20 years ago. Brosnan said his 41-year-old daughter Charlotte died on June 28, leaving behind her husband and two children. Charlotte's mother was Brosnan's first wife, Australian actress Cassandra Harris, who died from the same type of cancer at the age of 43 in 1991. Brosnan adopted Charlotte and her brother Christopher in the 1980s after their father died and they took his surname.

Pharrell Williams filed a lawsuit Monday (July 1) asking a U.S. court to rule he has not violated any trademark that Black Eyed Peas rapper will.i.am owns, on the phrase "I AM." The lawsuit said will.i.am, whose real name is William Adams, has repeatedly sent letters to Williams demanding he stop using versions of the phrase "I AM" on a website founded by Williams, iamother.com. The lawsuit asked the court to declare that the phrase "I Am Other" does not inf
