The sequester is projected to bring a decade of budget cuts that will affect many people even as real unemployment remains high. Our economic system is crumbling and with it the the number of jobs and the state of our workers, but there may be a sliver of hope. Uncertain times provide a great opportunity for pushing back against the old guard and attempting something new.
