The department offers a variety of open as well as endoscopic surgical procedures. With the addition of latest state of the art flexible ureteorenoscopes, rigid ureteroscopes and pediatric cystoscopes and resectoscope the department is now geared to offer the latest teachniques of treatment to urology patients.
A modern dialysis and kidney transplant centre is (Insha Allah) planned to be constructed in liaison and financial assistance with the KIDNEY FRIENDLY CARE SOCIETY (KFC) a charitable NGO affiliated the Department of Urology Lahore Medical and Dental College Lahore.
The department is recognized for undergraduate training and internship by PMDC. The recognition for training of FCPS in Urology will be Insha Allah acquired in the near future.
