Family, friends and fans of James Gandolfini gathered at a Manhattan cathedral for his funeral on Thursday (June 27), a week after actor died of a heart attack while visiting Rome. Police set up barricades in front of the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine as fans held vigil outside. Celebrities seen arriving at the funeral included Edie Falco, who co-starred with Gandolfini on his hit series, "The Sopranos."

Cameron Diaz has reportedly signed on to star in the new movie adaptation of "Annie." The actress will play villainess spinster Miss Hannigan. Sandra Bullock had previously been in talks for the part, but pulled out.

Finally festival goers have already started arriving for this year's Glastonbury festival, which starts on Friday (June 28). Revellers have been busy pitching their tents across the 900 acres for the three day music fest. This year's headliners include The Rolling Stones, Mumford & Sons, and Arctic Monkeys.
