Spanish police smash al-Qaeda ring in Ceuta

Spanish police in the north African enclave of Ceuta have arrested eight people on suspicion of recruiting jihadist fighters to go to Syria and elsewhere.
They are accused of belonging to a network linked to al-Qaeda
and funding, indoctrinating, and facilitating travel for would-be fighters.
Police said the cell had a base in the Moroccan town of Fnideq.
