Laura Jane Vincent is from southeastern rural north carolina. She met Dave Tippetts in Charleston, SC. Immediately, three years later they went out on a date, and then eventually, got a drum kit, several instruments with strings, and a strong desire to make original music by fusing their love of classic rock and country, songwriting, and LV's uncanny ability to wail on a mic.
