Girl power ruled the stage on Saturday (June 1), with Beyonce heading a star-studded line-up to raise funds for women's health, education and justice.

The "Crazy In Love" singer played a 40-minute set of mainly female anthems at the Chime for Change concert.

She's one of the campaign's co-founders alongside Hollywood actress Salma Hayek and Gucci designer Frida Giannini.

SOUNDBITE: Beyonce Knowles-Carter, singer and Chime For Change Co-Founder, saying (English):

"Women's rights, it's something that's always been something close to my heart. And I know now being a mother is really important that I can do what I can and use my voice. And to know that there are women around the world that don't have a voice, we have to -- use our voices and raise the awareness and be a part of something what we can leave our legacy and help improve this world."

The sell-out gig at London's Twickenham stadium also saw performances from Jennifer Lopez, Florence and the Machine
