The Astra is a popular model for Vauxhall, and the Vauxhall Astra VXR is bound to increase such popularity.
This hot hatch goes up against the likes of the Ford Fiesta ST and Renault Megane RS. Inside and out, the VXR has a sporty feel to it - from the seats to body work. But does the performance and handling reflect this too?
The VXR doesn't forget its hatchback roots though and has plenty of practicality, which could suggest Vauxhall intend for this car to be just as good for the daily commute.
