Nikkei flops, Europe rises, & jobless claims rise

05/30/13 European and U.S. stocks were off to a steady start Thursday following an array of economic reports including jobless claims, revised GDP, and consumer confidence. Also, the Nikkei took a big hit and pending home sales in the U.S. impress.
