There is a bigger difference in the two systems other than the TDS Meter, although the TDS METER is a nice feature if YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT (SEE "HOW TO USE A TDS METER").
If a customer has city water or a private well with considerable amounts of sediment, iron or sulphur, installing an RO system - ANY RO SYSTEM - is not a good idea without pretreating that water first.
