00:09 This is what President Marcos said when he visited the Indo-Pacific Business Forum in Taguig City,
00:16 where he expanded the government's programs.
00:20 And this includes the establishment of a high-quality investment fund and the support of good organizations in international countries.

00:32 President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. invited foreign investors to be part of the Build Better Board Program of the government.
00:42 During his visit to the Indo-Pacific Business Forum in Taguig City,
00:46 he said that of the 180 infrastructure priority projects,
00:50 almost 10 trillion pesos are currently being allocated by the government.
00:56 With the public-private partnership code, we have accelerated the delivery of critical projects,
01:03 fostering economic growth and enhancing the quality of life for all Filipinos.
01:09 This landmark legislation makes collaboration between the government and the private sector even more efficient.
01:16 The Philippines also supported the leadership of the Smart and Sustainable Transportation in the Indo-Pacific region,
01:23 which the President mentioned, the establishment of a high-quality investment fund.
01:27 At the same time, the President praised the country's good economic record.
01:32 As the Philippines occupies a strategic position in the Indo-Pacific,
01:36 we are leveraging our strategic geopolitical location, economic engagements, and participation in regional agreements.
01:45 With this region accounting for over one-third of global economic activity,
01:50 this presents immense opportunities for our nation.
01:54 We are proud to be a major contributor, with our GDP ranking amongst the fastest-growing in the region,
02:02 coupled with our burgeoning population and significant trading outputs.
02:07 I am proud to share that our economic achievements have been outstanding.
02:13 Some of the Philippines' contributions to strategic partnerships are the Free Trade Agreement
02:18 and the Generalized System of Preference.
02:21 These agreements underscore our commitment to fostering economic growth and international cooperation.
02:29 With RCEP, investors can access other markets from RCEP countries
02:35 by manufacturing and exporting their products from the Philippines.
02:39 There are also other game-changing reforms in the law that can help support foreign investment.
02:46 Through these reforms, we assure you that the Philippine government is fully committed
02:52 to supporting and facilitating your business endeavors in our country.
02:56 We extend our hand in partnership and stand ready to provide any assistance that you may require
03:03 as you navigate the business landscape of the Philippines.
03:07 Meanwhile, the President also mentioned the improvement of the Luzon Economic Corridor,
03:11 strengthening the renewable energy sector, and the ongoing digitalization initiatives.
