Born through a networking merger between Chrissie Elwin (Head of Artist Management: STAZZ productions) and Jackson Douglas (Dir. of Marketing and promotions: GBA ent.), Stazz Inc. is essentially a “what you need” minded entertainment company. From jump street, the merger provided opportunities for both sides. Ensuring the talent was available for the marketing, and providing the artists under management with the ability to produce actual product with marketing push. CHEERS!
The networking did not stop there though. Through outsourcing minor projects and taking on work for artists not under management, Stazz Inc. has established some solid links at every level from conception to production to packaging and so on. Employing Photographers, Graphic designers, Vocal Artists and Musicians for in house projects Stazz Inc. can now offer artists help at every stage. Whether you have a project you would like to be handled from beginning to end… GREAT! In 2007 Stazz Inc. boasted two Toronto Independent Music Awards nominee’s in the category of best hip hop {Devastator and Speck Nasty}. On the heals of this achievement, Stazz released their first full length effort in 2008… “Red Carpet Effect” showcasing all the artists signed to the company. Also, as a prelude to the forth coming Speck Nasty album “Lab Rat” Stazz Inc. released the Free EP “Burden Of Proof”… a seven track introduction to Speck.
