Kranked started in 1997 when Bjørn Enga and Christian Begin set out in the Purple Bus to define on 16 mm film what they perceived to be freeriding within the mountain bike world. From these historic film shoots Kranked- Live to Ride burst into existance showing the world the new adrenaline movement taking place in the mountains of BC. The stated mission was to define freeriding and inspire others to take it from there.
Eight films later we are trying something new. Inspired as always by the cool, conscious adrenaline lifestyle Kranked is morphing into a media /brand licensing company. Our goal is to create a vibrant community orientated brand that produces inspirational media and super cool adrenaline products.
