Lizzie Oxby is an award winning filmmaker who graduated from the Royal College of Art in London. She specialises in making atmospheric films which blend animation with live action performance.

Her films often cross over from the dark to the beautiful in imaginative ways and have been screened at numerous international film festivals, including the London Film Festival, Clermont- Ferrand, Resfest, Krakow, Bilbao, Hiroshima, Stuttgart and Annecy as well as many other leading festivals. Her work has also been exhibited at major modern art and cultural institutes including The National Gallery, the Institute of Contemporary Arts, The Arnolfini and The Royal Academy of Art in London.

Awards include; a British Animation Award, a British Independent Film Award nomination, and Gold and Silver Mikeldi Animation Awards.

Lizzie is represented for film by Lenny Beckerman, Head of Film and Television at Hello! & Company (Los Angeles). She’s currently writing a screenplay for a feature film project called Tiny Dots, and will continue to make more of her Daydreams - her ongoing series of micro films.

She has also created films for highly synchronised, live performances for the stage using multi-screens for dance and theatre and has lectured at Wimbledon College of Art and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. She’s been a member of the British Animation Awards jury and is also a published illustrator.

Clients also include: EMI UK, MTV, The Jerwood Foundation, Channel 4 Television, the National Trust and the award-winning theatre company Theatre-Rites.
