GlobalOnlineCars

@GlobalOnlineCars
Global Online Cars was incorporated in November 2005 by me, Chris Jellie an ex-Panel Beater who at the age of 22 found himself living on Kyushu Island, Japan.
I was to stay in Japan for almost 18 years and from 2000 ~ 2009 was employed, then self-employed as a professional “pre-purchase” car Inspector attending the Japanese vehicle Auctions in the Tokyo (Kanto) and Nagoya regions.
For the first 9 years in Japan I had nothing to do with cars, I spent my time studding the culture and language. But it was a privileged position I found myself in when I was re-introduced to the car industry of N.Z. through a subsidiary of the Japanese giant, the Sumitomo Corporation. Sumitomo introduced to me, the owners of Auction Houses throughout Japan.
From that vantage point, bore witnesses to the transformation of physical Auction to Digital and the amalgamation of corporations that was needed to survive the developing climate.
My primary task was to figure out what was going wrong with business model of the company I was employed at and why the sale of vehicles online was not proceeding as planned.
It was a number of years before I understood the problem, it was another few years understanding what was needed, then many more years to prepare.

I believe I have the answer and I would like to share it.

Follow me as I piece together my vision for the future of online car sales, which is; safe, accurate, interactive, and fun,… on a “Global Scale”

My name is Chris Jellie, and thanks for watching.
